Work Experience
Work experience days are run twice yearly (normally during May and November) by the Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Services, which gives an insight into the different aspects of working in dietetics (e.g. paediatrics, secondary care, primary care), and also details of how to become a Dietitian.
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate the number of requests we receive to spend time with individual Dietitians. Universities that run nutrition and dietetic degree courses do recognise our work experience day as having spent time with a Dietitian, and we are happy to issue certificates of attendance.
