Benefits of weight loss
Losing weight and staying a healthy weight will reduce the risk of other diseases and improve overall health and wellbeing.  Losing a moderate amount of weight (about 5-10%) has great health benefits such as lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, reduced breathlessness, and reduced joint pains.  Many of us have an ideal weight we would like to be, but small graduate steps to a moderate weight loss are a good starting point.
