Enteral Nutrition Training for Care Providers
Each 3½ hour training session aims to provide information about:
- Leicestershire Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Service
- Caring for a client with a gastrostomy tube in situ
- Bolus feeding and use of enteral nutrition pumps
- Infection control issues
The sessions are organised and run by staff from the Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Services (LNDS) Home Enteral Nutrition Team, and are held at LNDS Headquarters.
