Improving Community Adult Nutrition (I-CAN) E-Learning

The training package has been designed to support carers and staff looking after adult patients aged 18 and over living in commuity settings to support them with their nutritional care.  We hope you find this training useful, and it equips you with the skills and knowledge to support patients with their nutrition and hydration within the remit of your role.

Please note: Following the launch of the LLR ONS Replacement in Care Homes Scheme on 1st September 2025, there is an updated I-CAN training package specifically for Residential and Nursing Home staff coming soon and this will reflect the new Care Home Malnutrition Management Pathway. In the meantime, please continue to use the community package, however, please note for Residential and Nursing Home staff, this currently refers to the old pathway.
